Suits You Ma’am presents a limited edition multiple of 400 numbered copies + 200 nominative copies of TATTOO ROULETTE box sets holding 160 cards (4 of which are jokers) and an index poster – put together using 156 body suits handmade by 154 tattooers after receiving an invitation to compose something they truly dig using a template and a fixed set of guidelines provided by Carl June, viz.: retrace model in the same proportions and position on archival acid free paper (the faces featured in the index are largely to scale) — use any medium — your drawing has to be tattooable — no background — no accessories — no hairdo — date and signature on the back — most have followed the instructions))) <3 *inspired by a design tattooed on the back of the author’s left thigh in 2014 — once healed, the little diving devil travelled the world for years to meet with over 200 of the best in their studios and at tattoo conventions for a paid commission resulting in this ritzy collection for you to enjoy and perhaps play with — exclusively available through the inn (222.–) and for consultation at participating tattooers around the globe — art project/collective centred around a collection of drawings of body suits commissioned from a carefully selected list of tattoo artists — of which many are considered amongst the finest most talented and influential tattooists around — the project's simple yet striking restrictions and the inspired works it generates favor an unambiguous overview of 21st century tattooing through hundreds of different designs and iconographies from around the globe, translated in a broad range of styles spanning Eastern and Western cultures — ( SYM ) inn was a 22-day book launch — open studio — art installation / collection / dime museum open to the public from 10 NOV to 31 DEC 2022
